the making box

when i was little, my mum started collecting odd bits from around the house and saving them for me to make things with. they were saved in a big blue plastic box, that we lovingly named ‘the making box’.

i took to this like a duck to water and it become my absolute favourite thing to do. looking back, nothing i have done since has ever really compared, until now!

as i grew up i sort of left it behind. consumed with school work and the stresses of teen life, it wasn’t until recently when my anxiety was at an all time high that my mum suggested i take it back up.

i started with collaging, and now experiment with a tonne of different materials. sometimes making functional products, gifts and home decor, and sometimes just making something for the sake of being creative.

making things gives me LIFE! and i have big old dreams for the making box.
